The Spring 2018 semester of City Art Lab is up and running! This year’s teams are working with the themes of Place/Space and Free To Be Me. These two teams of CCNY Art Ed Graduate Teaching Artists will lead the teens in critical art looking and making projects over the course of the semester. In May the teens will curate their work, and the program will culminate with a gallery exhibition.
Team Place/Space, led by Teaching Artists Gina and Sara have been exploring color mixing and collage incorporating painted papers.
Team Free To Be Me, led by Teaching Artists Kaitlyn and Siwei have been thinking about social media and exploring mask-making.
